OfflineHi all, sorry I missed the Christmas Party. Our flight got delayed so I was entertaining a 2 and 4 yr old in an airport all day.
I have come across another grant opportunity to support our restoration efforts for Strawberry. While this somewhat overlaps the Legacy Trails Program which just closed, I think we can frame this as supporting our clubs efforts on a larger scale rather than just a grant for USFS trail work. Please take a look at the Grant information and let me know your thoughts on what we would put in the application.

OfflineI was thinking about applying for the following:
-~$2k for Chainsaw/CPR/First aid training to allow us to do some of the work
-~$1,500 for signage (those brown carsonites or other signage for the trail)
-~$500 to buy food for work parties
-~$2k for heavy equipment rental and transport
Also this grant was sponsored partially by Ford so we might need a couple to pose for pictures to put in the application.

I just bought a 2024 F150 Platinum and Roy and Romika have their Ford Tremor.
Kris, how far have you come along with your Strawberry trail assessment? That too could be an integral part of our bid for an improvement grant allowance (including fire renovation measures). Has the Ford allowance been accounted for yet (100%)?
