Do we have a date and plans for a spring maintenance run on Strawberry? If so, it would be good to get it posted on the calendar and create a thread in the Trail Runs/Events section for planning purposes.

It was briefly discussed at the last meeting as being planned for Sat June 5 - but as you note, I haven’t seen any further info on it.

That's why I posted this. Many of our members don't attend the virtual meetings so if we are planning on doing something we better get it scheduled and on the calendar.

Really, the Trailmaster should make the final call on date and post it up. If I recall correctly Tim mentioned he was already in fire season and unavailable, but Kris was going to set it up for him. There's a happy hour tonight where it could be finalized and posted afterwards, depending on attendance.

Agree Brad, which is why I asked if we had a date for it. June 5th is only nine days away so I doubt we would have a great turnout. If we do something on the June 5th, maybe we can get another one on the calendar for July since Tim mentioned that we would probably do a couple of maintenance runs.

So the happy hour included a total of 4 people & the subject never came up! I do agree with Brad concerning Tim, but not sure how much time Tim has to deal with this now that fire season has officially started. I will try to accommodate whatever dates come up for whatever run is scheduled.

I know Tim is busy and he doesn't necessarily have to be involved in the maintenance run. I'm sure if we set a date our club members will do their best to make it. I saw on a forum yesterday that people were able to run the entire trail so we just need a date and we can focus on the main issues with those who can make it. It will also give us an opportunity to asses the need for any future maintenance this spring or in the early summer.
