Just wondering if any one has gone up to strawberry trail as of late? I have been reading on another thread that a lot of trees have been downed by the crazy winds we had the last few weeks.

    I haven't been up there in a year 😳

    I used to wheel a lot. . .

Sounds like a good AM run for the 17th. 😁

Yeah, there have been CONSIDERABLE winds in that area ... then today there should have been some snow.

We've probably been reading similar things. Some heavy duty trees being cut and moved. Was curious if such things fall under Posse purview?

Keane's going so it must be good. πŸ™‚

Unfortunately I can't go. I'm just an idea guy for this one. Think of me as that little angel on your shoulder telling you what to do. πŸ˜€

If this is the case, I may head here for a 1/1 run.

Strawberry will be closed on the 1st due to the ENF seasonal closure. If a repair is going to happen it has to be soon. 🀷

I'm jammed until the weekend of 1/7 and already have something planned. πŸ˜‰

Hello - new to this board (been on pirate for years). Joined this morning cause it seems you guys are the ones to ask about Strawberry Pass. Looking at the posts earlier in this thread, looks like the trail is now closed to ENF Seasonal Closure. Can anyone confirm that for me? Couple buddies and I were thinking about heading up there next weekend... but if it's closed, obviously won't.

    Anyone know about Deer Valley?

    Thanks,

    Erik

Strawberry is closed as are all the dirt trails in the ENF ... that has been confirmed. Not familiar with Mokelumne Wilderness area to answer about Deer Valley.
