Road Patrol #2! As before will be monitoring traffic on Iron Mountain Road during the day posted above, handing out maps, advising on green sticker rules, and turning around cars.
Meet at the Pollock Pines Subway, just north of hwy 50, on the Sly Park exit. Meeting time: 830
We will leave for the road by 9AM. I am working with Kyle to get supplies.
We will set up the checkpoint some where we have snow for family play, or safety, depending on the weather.
The club monitors the station until about 3-4 PM at which time we return the supplies to Kyle and head out for the day.
Most of the day is free so many people will take off for snow runs.
I don't think we have any pending members looking to BBQ so remember your own food or post here ASAP if you are feeding the group.
I will be bringing a few cones but we could use an easy-up awning or 2 depending on weather.
Dress warm, bring water, and bring high visibility vests if you have them.

Hey everyone. Jason (Pivitil) and I plan on hosting a BBQ at this weeks road patrol. My plan is to smoke a couple pork shoulders and do pulled pork sandwiches. I was also thinking Carne Asada tacos as an alternative???? Either is fine with me. Thoughts? I love to BBQ as a hobby, but cooking 10 lbs of meat for the wife and kids doesn't make sense, so I jump at the chance to cook for a group. Potluck anyone???Tortillas or Buns, condiments, plates etc.etc. A final head count would be great by Saturday morning. I will be bringing my EZ up as well to have some cover. See everyone there!
