This Run is for a great charity!
This is our clubs 10th + year donating toys and raffle funds to The Highlanders Toy Run For Christmas Promise.
We will meet at the McDonalds near Hwy 50 at Hazel Ave. 830am. At 9am we will caravan over to the folsom aquatic center and line up along the far right side of the parking lot. There is a Starbucks across the street if you need coffee or hot chocolate to get you going!
This year the club will be purchasing several items to donate. All that is asked of attendees is you bring one new, unwrapped gift valued at $5 or more. Club members are encouraged to bring something fun that Kids would enjoy.
This event has an attendance award for clubs so be sure to sign in under us for credit! We won attendance last year! Also. There is a raffle for the cause which is fun as well. They have food items and a Santa for the kids too!
First timers can partake in the parade or bring RC cars to play with during the parade time. Camping chairs and warm dress are encouraged for the fun. Blankets help as well.

The toy run counts as an event for those of you considering member or prospect status as well!

Offline I'm not sure if will make the toy run or the Christmas party. I get off a 12 hour shift at 0630 that morning and I have my office Christmas party that evening. I'll decide soon and post up.

We now have about half the club's toy run donations.
Remember to sign in for you plus your entire family when you arrive at the event, including any friends you bring (under the Gold Hills Posse 4x4 Club).
Remember to bring one new unwrapped toy to donate per vehicle that arrives. We will meet up in advance and carry all our club's items with our individual items and delivery them at one time.

Some times we do scooters and ask the club to pick up helmets for them. This time we found a great deal on a youth blanket set.
Getting general toys are a hit. Girl items are especially nice since most toys seen are for boys. That's why we bough pink and purple scooters last year.
We still have more club run donations to buy. If we finde bikes or scooters on black friday we may need helmets. So if you can hang on until Saturday we will post what we ended up with.

Be sure to bring a toy per vehicle. Our club has a club donation as well!
Please sign in under our club, including everyone who was in your vehicle. This gives us a club count for our representation.
Everyone is welcome to arrive and depart based on your schedule. You don't have to attend the whole time. Many people sign in and drop off their donation, and then depart. It's all good since the goal here is to give back this holiday season for those less fortunate.
It should be a fun vehicle brigade!

Bummer! If I had known that before Black Friday I could have snagged a 12x12 for 70 bucks as a club replacement. Maybe we discuss this at the next meeting and vote on the expenditure?
