Hello all,

I thought I would start our 2023 trail planning.

Hell Hole - May 2023

Signal Peak - June 2023

Strawberry Trail - August 2023

Rubicon Mid week day run - September (Brad if I do the planning for this will you help lead the run? You know the lines on this one very well.)

Post up if your interested on these.

Good call Josh!

Get that Hell Hole date in early.

Sierra Trek is scheduled for August 10 -13 in 2023. Hopefully we can participate as a club again.

Interested in the runs.  The June run I cannot make.

In for all! I have lofty trail goals this summer to make up for disappearing this last summer. Some of my additional thoughts:

  • Signal Peak night run
  • Deer Valley & Slick Rock
  • Fordyce (still only been to committee, want to finish it)
  • Barrett (Camp at the lake?)
  • Long Canyon
  • Rubicon Camping
  • Rubicon/Wentworth play days
  • Start planning a Dusy-Ershim for 2024

Those sound like a great time.  My daughter also wants to do a 2 or 3 day trip through the rubicon.  She has been on the trail, but never all the way through.  I will be unable to help with Sierra Trek.  We are going to Yellowstone that week.

I too am interested in a number of these runs. I would very much like to do a two or three day Rubicon trip so we can stop and smell the roses, or should I say the exhaust and the fresh air. I would vote for doing it early enough in summer so that the risk of wildfire smoke is far less than it is later in the summer. Maybe in June? I have a conflict June 20 through the 25th but otherwise should be good the rest of the month.

I like where this is going, I really want to do the new RTF property loop! Sounds like some steep climbs to give the short wheel base rigs a little pucker, you will love it Jeff

All sounds great! Lets get it on the calendar. A couple MET snow runs this winter sounds fun too!

Paula and I have been away far too long… Would definitely like to get some runs in during the new year!  Are there any snow runs planned?

We are looking forward to reconnecting with our Posse friends in the new year!
