Starting a seperate thread since I requested this run.

Day Run up and down Fordyce, returning to the staging area.

More details to follow but Rob, Greg and Brad (plus passenger) are confirmed so far.

The committee crossing is closed until Sept. 29th. They are replacing the PG&E bridge above the lake. There is no way arou d it. Our only option now is to run up the trail and then all the way back out to the eagle lakes staging area where we start. We could shoot for say winch hill 3 or 4 then turn around and head out. It will make it a long day. Are you guys still up for that?

I'm up for it. It will be my first time on the trail in my rig. If I slow you guys down to much I can take a nap and wait for you guys to come back on your way out.

Um...what?

That's funny! I never thought about that approach.

This will be my first time (all the way across ish) with my current jeep I've only been on WH's 4 and 5 with my black jeep.

Brad is out on this run due to repairs. Does anyone still plan on going? I will go if there is still interest.

Hey Rob,
I'm still keeping this day off/run on my calendar. I may have to bail, but I expect to be operable before that trip.

I know you have to take a day off, so is it ok if we have a cut off of this Friday for me to confirm?

Fridays are my RDO, so I'm good.

Is this the whole trail in one day? We did half the trail (to committee crossing) by 2p last time I went.

Huck

Rob John and I ran the entire trail from air down to air up at Hwy 89 in 4 hrs.

I expect we'd probably run most of the trail and then back down in a day. The committee crossing is closed because of PG&E work, so it's not an option here.
