OfflineAt the last meeting there was a discussion of going to Apple Hill this Saturday.
Is there any interest? If so, we'd meet at the Placerville starbucks (by McDonalds) at 730ish and head up to High Hill Ranch just before 8AM.
It is supposed to be raining, but I'd still go - just dress appropriately and bring an umbrella. I'll be the one in shorts.

OfflineBest Trip EVER to Apple Hill!
There was 4" of new snow on the ground. Went to Hi-Hill ranch and grabbed some donuts and some apples - we were the first group there, driving in on fresh snow. Went to Boa Vista and they had a roaring open stove fire going. We bought hot cider and apple pie slices, plus ice cream and sat in front of the fire for a couple hours. It was GREAT! Oh, and Lee + his new girlfriend came down from Washington and hung out with us.

Saturday was a busy day for us as we had the Trans Siberian Orchestra to see that afternoon. So Jen and I went up to Apple Hill Sunday on our way back from Sly Park. We also did some wine tasting on the way back and found Apple Hill pretty much closed. Sure was pretty up there with all the new snow.
