how do you get to barret lake trail head?
Wright's Lake Rd off of Hwy 50. Follow it until it dead ends at the trailhead.
No. My kids had a pizza/movie fundraiser at their school tonight.
It's scary quiet around here tonight...especially for a night before a big run 😲
Jeeps packed...Coffee's made...See you guys at Fresh Pond.
I've been packing. I'm camping. 😎
I've been working on the jeep.
Finished building my duo-flate inflater gizmo.
Finished rewiring some stuff.
Need to just hookup one more set of power/ground wires so the CB works again.
need to finish packing.
Looking forward to pics!!!!
Coffee's almost done brewing, truck's almost packed. Why is it that I have to get up at 5:30 for a 9:00 meeting time? 😀
Sipping coffee right now...See you guys at Fresh Pond 😎

just took a long shower, watched the news, read the paper had breakfast and I think I'll stroll over to Brad's.
C-yall up at fresh pond.
just took a long shower
Who takes a shower before wheeling? 😂
8:15 p.m. and no word yet. The way I figure, if you all met at Fresh pond at 9 a.m. You would have been lucky to be on the trail by 10:30a.m...Then I estimate with your group, it would take you 5 to 6 hours to get to the lake and about 4 to to 5 hours to get back to the staging area..1 hour to air up and tell stories. I would estimate that with no breakage, you would all be off the trail around 8 p.m. and home around 10 or 11 p.m. tonight....This is only an estimate and does not include if someone broke down.
Lets see how close I get 😀
9:45 and counting. Do Justin and I need to form a rescue team 😂
Part of us are back. some turned around after the main rock garden and others went to the lake. Some then returned and part of the group spent the night. We had 11 rigs total. The only breakage I am aware of is John, who broke in the parking lot before the run! 😳
He can provide details...
I don't recall any breakage...It doesn't count unless it's on the trail 😛
I'm getting good at breaking my Jeep on the way to the trails 🙄
Keane, Larry, Lee, Joe, Don? (white rubicon) and Dan went up to Barret lake.
Lee and Joe stayed and camped up at the lake.
Keane, Larry, Don and Dan headed back and drove away from the lake around 6:00pm and made it off the trail at about 8:40
Larry and Keane headed off to camp, and Don and I aired up and drove home.
Trip home was uneventful. a tad chilly at times.
I don't think anyone broke anything. I picked up some red paint on my fender???
Brad - I have the CB you loaned Don. I'll drop it by your house.
and we saw Rainfly and RockRatz up at the lake.
We had to leave because everyone was firing up BBQs and we were getting hungry.
Overall this was a great trip.
Thanks for having me along.
and, it was good to see that Brad actually wheels his jeep. I have photo evidence.
