Teddi and I planned to go to Cabelas in Reno on Saturday but realized our tires weren't up to the trip so we spent the day getting new ones at Big O. While we were there we talked to Lee about our plans and rescheduled for today (Sunday) and they could go with us. It's the Costco/Sam's Club of sporting goods. Lots of great stuff to buy there. Overall we spent about 4 hours shopping. And lunch at the cafe was great Teddi had an ostrich sandwich, I had a bison burger, Lee had venison bratwurst and Pam managed to find enough non-meat food to get her through.

I bought some new hiking boots, 2 pairs of socks to go with them a toilet seat lit for 5 gallon bucket, and a bike rack attachment for our HitchHaul carrier. Teddi bought a new jacket and foot warmer things (like the hand warmer you guys have been using), and Lee and I split a 12 pack of Wag Bags.

Definitely a cool store. Kelly and I were there around Christmas and the place was a zoo. I have to go back because I've heard people talk about things that I missed. Did you find the scopes? I guess they have them all lined up so you can look through them at things across the store. I completely missed them.

Telescopes/spotting scopes or rifle scopes? I did see an elevated platform with some scopes on it for people to check them out.

The store wasn't too crowded today but I would have to say they've packed too much inventory in to maneuver the shopping carts. When we first went in I grabbed a cart, then put it back after pushing it for about 10 minutes, then went and got another one. It was constantly a pain trying to get around the store with it.

I am normally in Cabela's once a week. I can always find something to buy there 😀

Rifles as far as I know, but they may have spotting scopes as well.
