Let me know what you are interested in doing. I have the time off work to get up there and enjoy it unlike last year. the Cantina is held at the spillway at Loon Lake staging area. There will be vendors and a big raffle, as well as tacos and ice cream for sale, all as a fundraiser for the rubicon trail foundation. I plan on camping at spider for at least one night.

If I recall where this is all taking place, 4WD is not necessary so the XJ could make it just on the rear D44.

You can drive up there in a Subaru... It's a gravel road down to the spillway, but with the crowd and trailer rig parking on Labor day weekend, you'll likely be parking up top and just walking down to all the fun anyway.

Ok. Work is "honoring" Labor Day holiday, imagine that. Government can be so picky some times eh? 😯
I also have that Friday off making things very flexible.
Will an open seat please stand up?
Thanks!
@Famwgn - What day of Cantina will you be up there? It sounds like you are thinking of just a day visit? From the Loon side and noticing you have protection to test out, you can certainly get into the Granite bowl. Possibly even turn around at the Wentworth springs fork.
