Our next club meeting will be held Thursday the 11th.
Items up for discussion include the club’s recent Runs, and other trips/events, including our trail.
New attendees are welcome and will be recognized!
The meetings are held at Round Table Pizza, 8755 Sierra College Blvd. # B, Roseville Ca. – South of Douglas Blvd. On East side of Sierra College Blvd.
You can save 15% by ordering your food one day in advance and telling Round Table that you are with the Gold Hills Posse Club, Phone # 916-791-7288. The meeting starts at 7:30PM.
We will be nominating our 2015 officers beginning at this meeting!

Also Kyle Johnson and Cathy from the Forest Service will join us to talk about where Strawberry Trial is in the reopening plan and how Gold Hills Posse will be able to work on that. They will be able to talk some about other trails in the Eldorado forest too. It will be a good time to ask how we as a club we can help the Forest Service to maintain the 4X4 trails out there. Bring your questions.
If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.

Will we be able to receive more information about the Kiosk they would like us to build on the 88 side of Strawberry? I have a contact with the boy scouts that would be willing to help us find someone for the project. He requested more info that I didn't have for him.

Offline You may ask the USFS question on the kiosk. I just ask that Ryan's troop participate as well so he can earn his badge.

Offline I think you guys are doing it too early for Ryan, he won't be a Life Scout until Summer.
So I wouldn't ask you guys to hold it up for him if you can find another scout interested.

Offline I don't have anyone lined up by any means. We would love for Ryan to be able to do it. I'm not sure what the time line is on this project. Maybe it can wait until the end of summer? I guess the Trail Master might know more details and we can discuss at this weeks meeting with the FFS.

Offline Kyle Johnson and Cathy from the Forest Service will not be able make it for tonight's meeting, Kyle is "saving" his house from floating away. We will reschedule for the January meeting.
