Our club meeting is Thursday, the 12th.
Items up for discussion include the club's recent Runs, and other trips/events. We will also be discussing our club's 2009 upcoming formal runs and Club trail status as well.
New attendees are welcome and will be recognized! The meetings are held at Round Table pizza on Francisco Drive in El Dorado Hills. You can save 15% by ordering your food one day in advance and telling Round Table that you are with the Gold Hills Posse Club. Round Table's phone number is 933-4300. The meeting starts at 7:30PM.
The meeting this month will recap the recent snow run. We'll also discuss the upcoming Iron Mtn Road Patrol. We have a Saturday date coming up.
Also, club dues are now up. Please provide a check or cash at the upcoming meeting. You don't want the "Posse Patrol" calling you! You can also mail a check to us if that's easier, or your schedule doesn't permit attending the meeting.

I'd like to attend my second meeting with you guys but my class started three weeks ago at Folsom Lake College and I should probably not ditch class. Can I still hook up with you guys on your next few events though?
You are welcome to make runs and or meetings. We're a pretty flexible club.

I think Brad is abusing his moderator privileges.
I don't know how many times I've clicked the edit button instead of the quote button.
Dang! I keep hitting the wrong button. I'll "moderate" better in the future!

Sorry I didn't make the meeting. It started snowing about the time we left and I didn't feel like fighting it on a couple hours of sleep with the baby. Here's a bit of a Cal4Wheel update:
Events:
* Convention - February 13-16, 2009
* Molina Ghost Run - April 17-19, 2009
* Hi Desert Round-Up - May 22-25, 2009
* Sierra Trek - August 6-9, 2009
* High Sierra Poker Run - September 4-7, 2009
* Operation Desert Fun - October 2009
* Panamint Valley Days - November 7-9, 2008
They're also looking for gps info on trails from the U.S-Mexico border north to Mono Lake. Let me know if you need more info.

There's a road south of 80 heading down to onion valley, then up to black mountain.
an exit past nyack, then head south.
Or the route you suggested for the valentines day run, but that might be wild with this low snow.
Closed Mondays.

Dan wasn't at the meeting, so I'm not sure what his reply was based on. The run was discusses - as well as a run this weekend!
The summary of the run was "check the board". I believe the focus for the 21st was on Wentworth, or Grass Valley (per Larry). This weekends discussion was an informal run, but you'd need to call Lee on his Cell.

This was the same one as the "Tundra Trek" run at the Winter Fun fest. Was good with plenty of snow for sure. I have a feeling that it is socked in with snow now.
