I found a place that can have tires for me on mon. or tues. of next week, installed by the end of the week. My dad sounded like he wants to go to this, so we might be able to make it. Wont know for sure until probably thurs. or fri. next week though.

What do you expect from a jeep?

If you broke down, I could run the yellow jeep.

So what's on the to-do list for the yellow Jeep, aside from the new windshield?

I ordered the parts yesterday. The one item I have is tracking down the bad RE joint and replacing it.

I've got all the parts to replace them. I just have to get off my bottom and get it done. I did get the front end done, but now I have to do the back end.

Don't know. I've never come in that way. You've got a Cruiser, what are you worried about?

Guys thought about switching to a different brand of joint? Maybe the Johnny Joints?

It'll be a shake-down run for both of our Jeeps.

I took the black jeep to Prarie City today at lunch. It did very well. I was able to test the brake and ARB lines, as well as some flex, the swaybar disconnect and the lockers.

I am not sure about the TJ/LJ rubicons, but the JK lockers operate off of one switch. touch it once and the rear comes on. touch it twice and the front comes on. Touch it again and the front goes off, but the rear stays on. You can easily switch the front on and off, while keeping the rear on. It's a pretty cool design. You can also hit 4-hi, and both the swaybar and rear locker will stay on.

There is a 4ft ledge on a hillclimb there. The JK went right up it. I'd be nervous in my TJ (Rob's wheelbase would be ok).

Sounds like you're ready for Jackhammer. Lots of four and five foot ledges to play on.

Ledges in JK = No problem

    Body Damage = Not Interested

Not drivable by a car. It is not paved and it is a bumpy road. I deer hunt in that area and use the Soda Springs road all the time.

I added the meeting time and location to my original post in this topic.

How about a role call for who's going and where we'll be meeting the group?
