Hey all, late notice but here we go.  Im taking a couple of friends out to Prairie City for a bit Saturday so I figured I would open it up to the club and others.  Plan is to be out there from about 11 till around 2.  Rain looks like it will be light in that window but we will be at the mercy of the weather.

I am coming from Placerville so I cant pick anyone up but I have an empty seat for anyone who wants to drive out.  The entrance fee is something like $5 per vehicle and any 2wd can make it to the 4x4 pit area.  (grab a map when you get there or ask the ranger and they will direct you, map has this area labeled "4x4 pit")

Meet at the 4x4 pit area at 11AM.  If you show up a bit late just look for posse stickers on vehicles, the 4x4 area is pretty easy to search.  By 2pm I aim to head out but that time isn't fixed.

Hey guys I forgot that me and my wife have to go out of town this weekend so we will not be able to make it to Prairie City on Saturday. If y'all plan another trip soon we definitely would like to go along. I hate we're gonna miss all the fun but we'll do our best to go next time.

The long lost Samurai will plan on going.

If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.

Ok, we were out out town from Thursday through Sunday. Heard there was a lot of rain. So how did it go at PC?

Two broken rigs, but only one had to call for a tow truck.

It was fun to get together. The mud made all the stair steps and rocks a more difficult challenge. Glad it was raining on way home kept mud wet so it just hosed off fairly easy.

If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.

It was me that got towed, ordering my pan today and going to the 4 wheel drive shop to complain about the rubicon skid plate.

Gill bent his factory tie-rod a bit but not enough for a tow.  I have an extra stock one lying around I can bring to the next event/meeting unless you are going to upgrade.

My friend Cody in the green XJ dented his flowmaster.

My friend Jordan in the red TJ found some serious frame rust when pressure washing the mud off.

Rain held out for us and didn't start till about 2pm when we were airing up.  Lots and lots of mud.

Yes Kris I would appreciate the stock one and thanks it was still a fun day.  I will upgrade to a heavy duty steering system at a later date.
