Iron Mountain Road Patrol Number 3! Saturday, March 4th.

    The run is on Saturday March 4th.  Tons of snow! I will look for others to lead this road patrol, but hope to be there this time...
    The runs are on the calendar.
    Road Patrol Number 3.
    We count people who pass the check point and hand out literature if there is any available. Otherwise our conversations are educational.
    Meeting in Pollock Pines Subway/gas station at 830 am on Sunday. We will leave by 9 am.
    We will then head up Mormon Iimmigrant Trail, set up camp above the snow line where people can sled and snowshoe.
    'This is a casual vehicle counting event with lots of sitting around. Bring chairs, pop ups, RC cars, snow shoes, food, snacks and whatever else you'd like.
    There will be chances to snow wheel here to so you'll be welcome to head further up too.
    if anyone wants to bring firewood or propane heaters too.
    I don't believe there will be any member bbqs this trip, but if you'd like too, just post up!

    I will head this one up.

    Unless the weather is perfect we need at least one person to bring a pop-up.  Also need one person to bring a folding table.  Please post up here if you can bring items requested.

    We will be there with our snowshoes! Also if someone can post if they are bringing firewood that would be great. Depending on prior circumstances allowing, I will try to bring some chili.  I won't make it flaming so all can enjoy... Something hot out in the snow always warms you up... 🥶

    You can keep the pop up for number 3 and we will just pick it up from there.  We plan to attend the run too.

    I'm pretty sure I can make this one. I'll bring my 10'x20' pop-up, two folding tables and some firewood.

    Can you bring the safety gear that I will need for chain saw class on this run. Please and thank you and I might be able to go on this run with some fire wood.

    Darrell's 50th birthday is on Sunday, March 5th. I will bring a treat to share! Jill

    I'm counting about 22 people coming... I'm doing chili and will bring crackers, corn chips, diced onion, shredded cheese and sour cream.  All I have currently (soon to change however) is a small camp stove with 2 burners. Can I get someone else to bring their stove to help heat it up?
