Ronie's not cooking this time around. Dave is doing his Member cookout instead.

If you want to taste Ronie's cooking, be at the Chili Cookoff!!

While having the front gearset changed out, I also wanted full coverage axle tube seals installed to replace those little disks that slide over the axle shafts.

When I got home, I discovered that not only were there no tube seals but the disks were gone as well. That leaves a LOT of space between the axles and the tube for snow, mud, etc.

As of this morning, still no answer as to what will get done or when. Not real happy with 4 Wheel Parts right now to say the least.

So I figure, if I'm gonna vent at someone's expense I'll also offer up kudos when they step up.

Marc is all over my situation and, as I said last night, will have me rolling this afternoon. There won't be time to do some of the interior installation, but the XJ will be running!

    See you Saturday!!

This is my final, final, FINAL entry in this thread ... Latest news is a CV joint issue which will require replacement or rebuilding. Ronie and I are out.

Good news is we'll have the XJ back early next week and THEN all is good to go.

What should I be bringing for the meal? I don't see anything needed. Any ideas?

The boys want to know if Kathleen is coming. They're big fans of hers. When we left the Christmas party they wanted to go back to tell her where to find the Christmas lights. 😀

I just got finished adding mud flaps so hopefully I won't get a ticket. We were going to bring some cookies unless something else is needed?

Did anyone get pics of the USFS visit?

It was a great day. Thanks for an excellent BBQ! RCs worked out great and the only breakage was a steering problem johnathan experienced.

Glad everybody had a good time and nobody got any fix-it tickets. I hope to make the next one provided my kids don't have any more honor band concerts 😂

Home safe. Snow does not make good wheel weights.

Thanks dave & Lori For the great BB. Welcome to the club.

Had fun pulling and being pulled. Jeff, Greg thanks for the pulls.
