Anyone interested in a bike ride around Lake Natoma this Sunday? Departure time will be about 2:00. It's a 13 mile ride starting and ending at my house. We plan to take it pretty slow and expect the ride time to be about an hour and a half to two hours. We may stop for a break about halfway around so bring some light snacks if you'd like them. Most of the ride will be on bike trails but there is about 1/2 mile in Old Folsom where we'll be on the road.
Club members and prospects can get my address on the contact info forum. If any non-members are interested please pm me for the meeting location.

Offline That sounds like FUN. Been on the tried a couple of times with my Boy Scout Troop. If I wasn't working on the XJ this weekend, we'd figure out a way to get there with the tandem. Keep posting these!

Either. Teddi and I will be on our road bikes and sticking to the pavement. There are mountain bike trails that parallel the paved path for some of the route.
Edit) We're not planning on a fast pace.

Offline We had a great ride today. The weather could have been a little better though. It was nice and sunny when we started but clouded up and started getting cool about halfway through.
Participants were Sue, our friends Kevin & his wife Tracy, Teddi and myself.
