Amber and I would like to have a member bbq. We would like to set up a deer valley day trip on july 10th or july 11th. Let me know what day works better for everyone. Hopefully get a big group together. I will have smoked pulled pork with hawaiian rolls and bbq sauce. And some sides and drinks to go with it. There will be plenty for everyone.

That weekend we are on our belated honeymoon in Hawaii 'cause Covid cancelled last year's trip. Wish we could come sounds tasty.
I definitely could not do July 11th. But if it turns out to be the 10th, there is a decent chance I could make it.
Saturdays are always better, so the 10th is my vote.

Preferably just a day run for us. Others can camp at hermit if they would like. We have no way of carrying camping stuff and BBQ stuff in the yj. Looks like Saturday july 10th will be the day.

I'm hoping to make this run. What direction are you planning to run the trail? If I go I may camp the night before the run, especially if you run south to north since it's a three our drive to the southern trailhead for me.
I might be interested in camping also, would drive out after work so might be late, but camping would be fun.

What direction will you be running the trail is a great question Jeff.
@Robert & Amber …. FWIW last year we ran it from the South to the North then hit Strawberry to get back to HWY 50 and it was a lot of fun. If you haven’t planned it out yet, I offer that idea for your consideration. Oh, and my favorite picture from that trip….

So it looks like july 10th will be the day! Rumor is deer valley opens end of june. So who can lead this run? Jeff did a fantastic job leading the last deer valley trip. Can we make this an official run and get it on the calendar?
I'm about 90% sure I'm going to make this run. I would be happy to lead if I do go but I know you would do fine as a leader Robert!
