This patrol will also be a CHILI COOK-OFF. If you can make a mean chili, we want to try it. If you can't we want you to bring a side to go with it. If you don't like Chili, it's probably because you aren't trying it with BEANs. Either way, this is a great opportunity to enjoy some warm food with good friends in cold weather.
Meeting at the Subway/Shell station in Pollock Pines off of Hwy 50 and Sly Park exit.

Meet at 8:30am for drivers' meeting and sign-in; we will leave at 9:00am. Will plan on having lunch around noon or so and start packing up around 2:00pm - 3:00pm depending when the afternoon wheelers get back. Dress for a day in the snow and cold.
Please post below if you are attending and what you plan to bring.
Other notes:
We will use the club's HAM PosseV2 frequency for communications, so bring your HAM radios. If you do not have a HAM, please let us know. I carry spares as well as a few others in the club if you need one for the day.

I’m not sure how we all got off course but the snow patrol at MET is still on as planned including chili with beans.
MET is closed every year which is why we do a snow patrol.
We will stay the course as planned and hopefully have a great day in the snow enjoying each others company while rescuing those ignoring the road closures.
