Rob, Justin and I threw together a last minute trip yesterday. We went in through Wentworth to see how far we could get. We made it all the way to Little Sluice. We were going to run Little Sluice, but all the snow was piled up on one side creating a big side hill, so we couldn't run it. The snow was deep in sections and the trail was dry in other sections. So, there was a good mix of snow wheeling and rock crawling. We went out through the Bowl and Loon Lake. Tons of damage, dents, and a couple of flops. Wild run!!!
I used to wheel a lot. . .

That trip was a blast, allot of work, but a blast. I can't believe John never passed out. He wasn't feeling well and looked like a zombie all day. And Rob had some amazing acrobatic driving coming out in 2 wheel drive. 😯
Thanks guys for getting me into that mess. I am going to go wash my Jeep now and look for damage. 😡
Did you guys know that a Jeep auto transmission doesn't work when the Jeep is laying on it's side?

I think Rob floped 3 times in the same spot. 😯 (He kept backing up and hitting it again trying to cut a trail) But him being the full throttle assult driver he is, he just powered through them. 8) Me, I'm a little throttle shy and just drove into it in the same spot Rob did. They pulled me back onto my wheels, and away we went.

I will post photos and details tonight when I get home from school. Lots of fun. All of us got body damage, broke stuff, winched, and two out of three flopped, If Johns passeger mirror had not landed on the rock, he would have gone over too. More tonight

Why do I have the feeling we wont be seeing any pictures soon? 🙁
Alex will have to make a run to the Tool Corral at Home Depot to get some hammer pictures.

Alex got back from the Hammers just in time. With any luck he'll be real busy for the next few days. Of course, Heidi will be doing all the hard work.
I'll post a picture of the rock climb staging area tonight. I just need to get the pics downloaded from my camera.

A few other quick notes:
I unbeaded two front tires and almost flopped coming down Walker Hill.
Justin flopped, destroyed a wheel, and added some new dents/scratches.
Rob flopped multiple times, fried his winch, broke a u-joint, and had to be led out on the end of my tow strap.
Rob wins

I guess I can't argue that one 😀

Here are a few of the photos.
As far as my damage goes, not sure what went wrong with winch. It started losing pulling power and then quit working all together. It was like there was no power going to it anymore. Body damage was to both front fenders, smashed up the driver side door. Broke more of my windshield, broke the driver side U joint on the front axle. That is all I have found so far.

quote from pirate thread the day before they left...
"The ledge and squeeze rock roughly 200 yards prior to Walker is covered with a snow drift on the right side. Until the snow melts or somebody does a LOT of shovel work they will lay their rig on its side and winch it 30 feet trying to go through. A quad might make it due to width."

It looks like another group (Bebe) went the same day also, behind you.
