Dave's coming over Sunday, 6/14, about noon to get some help with getting his Jeep ready for Rubicon Round-Up. Some of the things we'll be doing are:
- replace front & rear diff lube
- remove t-case drop
- possibly install aftermarket diff covers or skid plates
- adjust his new Staun deflators
- possibly install engine skid plate

If anyone is available and would like to help out you're welcome to come on over. Its likely we could squeeze in a few more similar kinds of things if anyone has something to get done for the trip. If anyone needs directions let me know and I'll send you a map.

I've got some work to do on my jeep that I'm trying to finish up, but will try to stop by.

We got a lot done on Dave's Jeep today. We replaced the rear diff lube but didn't do the front since he's got a new diff cover on order for the front. We adjusted the Staun deflators. And we removed the t-case drop. That proved to be more effort than my initial 15 minute estimate. The company who did the lift kit install used the wrong bolts (metric instead of standard) messing up the threads on all the nutserts in the frame. One of the them broke loose and I had to weld it in to keep it from spinning. Then we ran a 1/2" tap in each of the nutserts to repair the threads.

Later this week we'll install the engine skidplate and service the front diff.

We just wrapped up round two. We got Dave's engine/transmission skid plate installed, changed the front diff lube and installed his Warn front diff guard. He should be pretty well prepared for Rubicon.

I have to say Dave's been eager and willing to learn how to work on his Jeep. It's been a pleasure to spend some time with him, get to know him and give him a hand.
