I am planning a day trip to run the Rubicon Friday September 7th. Would start at Loon Lake and run all the way though and out South Lake Tahoe. However I could be convinced to turn around at the springs and head back the out Loon.

I have the day off already so I'll post later once I can confirm. I am fine with the run Rob proposes as well as an "all the way through" run.

So whose committed to this trip? I'm just curious. I could have the day off to go. I'm thinking it might be a good day to attempt the little sluice. Would we have time for that? Ron have you done little sluice in your new buggy yet?

Um...what?

The 7th works for me, and there is always time to try the little sluice. I say we set our goal for Buck island and then back out. I haven't run the LS in my buggy yet, just my jeep.

Depending on me schedule I may be in as well. The shorter run may actually be better for my timing and I'd be up for some LS work.

Rob, what about a fordyce trip 2 weeks after that?

I have Friday the 21st open. Saturday won't work, and Sunday I will be in San Diego. Let me know so I can put it on my calendar.

OK Rob - I can do Friday the 21st for a Fordyce day run.

I am also planning Friday September 7th for the Rubicon "in and out" day run. Scott, do you have any run details? Meeting times, etc.?

I will need to confirm but the Friday Rubicon run may work for me. Either route is fine.

Fordyce is on the bucket list but perhaps I need to wait for one of the "intro" runs. I have only run to the first crossing (last Saturday!).

The Friday run is in to Buck Island and then back out to Loon (though waiting on details from Scott to confirm).

That works for me, it's on my calendar. Just let me know when and where to meet!

Spillway is fine by me. Unless I plan otherwise I need to drop my daughter off and then drive up. That means I'd be airing down around 830-845.

Let's make it 8:30 and 9am at the spillway. That gives everyone some wiggle room.

Im a tentative in as of now, if allowed, as im not sure the time frame (to run). My first trip through the Rubicon was the 2 day with the club just a bit back so im still unfamiliar with my rigs abilities on this trail with time limits.

I was getting excited about doing another run. 😯

Even mentioned it to Logan...

Mom said "No Way! He is Not missing school, and you are no taking a day off work to go play!" We were all set, gonna do it anyway... then realized, its picture day at school 😥

Can't miss picture day...

It will be fun, especially without the 2 1/2 hour drive out from Meadow lake. From Measow back down to the River Crossing is about 30 minutes and then 30 to Cisco. It is way shorter to come back down the trail and out to Cisco!!

I am a go as well. I will likely be solo as the rest of the family to busy with school, soccer, etc. Should be a blast.

I'm in if it is an open invitation. I didn't want to impose on Brad and Rob.

Um...what?
