We need to keep an eye on the snow levels up at Strawberry. When we get enough snow on the trail, we need to make a run on it 8)

Somebody post the link to the live camera so we can monitor it in this thread.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

You're right, I'm not a big fan of snow runs any more. But, my son is asking to go on a club snow run, and I like to make him happy 8)

Here's the link. No snow at this point. It probably will still be a couple of weeks.

Whats up with the lack of snow run interest? Isn't that how you keep your jeep washed?

I was offered $19K for my jeep this weekend! If I hold out long enough... (I'll get $19K for it in a year)...

Snow runs are cold, wet, flat, and often cause breakage...mostly from being too playful.
I enjoy snow runs on trails when it's not too deep. But snow runs on roads kind of lost their appeal...kind of like white mud.

I was up at Wright's Lake this weekend. It snowed quite a bit on Saturday afternoon, but didn't stick. Hopefully soon!

One web cam shows no snow while the other one shows a good blanket of snow. Which one is correct? Is it time to schedule a run?

I would be up for a Sunday run in the near future. Lake valley reservoir up at Yuba Gap is another option for a snow run...Much easier to get to, tons of places for the kids to sled, road is much wider for wheeling, and you can probably travel much further up the trail than you will ever get on Strawberry. Just an option!!

I'm open this Sunday. Anywhere in the area works for me.

Just wondering what the traffic might be like coming back on a holiday weekend. 😯
