Strawberry - Passable in a F150 Crew Cab on 34's?

Jamie (K6NUB) said I did not make the spring maintenance run but I keep hearing the trail has become much easier... Was hoping to maybe run it this Sunday but i just found out my Brother in Law and family will be here. He has a current generation F150 crew cab on 34's with a 2 inch lift but no armor, he is fairly experienced wheeling. Is strawberry in the type of shape that a large rig like that should be able to make it through with some spotting and low risk of damage?

Pics from the last 2 maintenance runs make me think there is a good chance we could get pretty far (not sure about pinch rock), but if there is absolutely no chance I don't want to waste their time 🙂

Take them in your Jeep, but not alone. In my opinion, I wouldn't recommend taking their rig on the trail. There are areas where the winter erosion has exposed rocks that now are larger & more has surfaced.

No I wouldn’t do it. Rich has has his HD homemade sliders that saved him big time. And he’s on 35’s.

I did not see V rock this time but there is a section before it that was fairly flexy and a good challenge.

Thanks guys, confirms what I was hearing, will save it for when they move this way and have their Jeep with them.

I'm on a 6" lift with the 35" tires, and there are some tough spots. It might be doable, but I also recommend taking the jeep. Especially without armor.

I agree, I just went through on Thursday, On a second note, squeeze rock is now a drive through. Flowers are everywhere at the peak, beautiful drive.
