Proposal:
2nd Strawberry Trail maintenance run
Date: Sunday, October 28th
Time: 8:00 am, meet at Subway in Pollock Pines. Depart for trail at 8:30 am.
What: Focus on the top half of the trail. Repair as needed.
I'm interested. Will this trip count towards keeping my membership?

If your willing to work and your rig is in good working condition your welcome to come.
Make sure the Forest Service is on board. Isn't the trail still technically closed?

The USFS requested a ride a long if another maintenance run is attempted. I think this directive falls under George's role and we ought to defer to him, his schedule and his contact with the USFS ride-along candidate.
LOVE the enthusiasm! Keane is correct the trail is closed, we cannot enter it without prior authorization from the USFS.
I've got a message in to Kyle at the USFS for approval to make a third maintenance run....and to see what dates would line up with his schedule since he requested to ride along if we did a third. He had very specific instructions for our last maintenance crew and is very appreciative of our work. The current litigation has changed the instructions generally given by the USFS in regards to water abatement and any "earth moving activities".

If I have my rims in and truck all buttoned up. I would love to go and would offer to drive the ride along in. I know we have a request for a ride along for the rubicon as well. I like that we are working with the forest rangers and building a great partnership.

Yes! We have a request to run the rubicon from the USFS. I wanted to provide them a day run before I broke.

Any update from the USFS on our request?
I'm making my Sunday the 28th schedule tomorrow - do we know if this is for sure happening
Kyle is checking with other Rangers to see if anybody else would like to ride along as well. He is also confirming a date for us. As well as checking trail conditions in regards to weather forecasts. Its supposed to snow up there this week.
So yes he has gotten back to us, but not with a direct answer. Unfortunately we are not approved for the 28th. It will most likely be middle of November (weather permitting). More to come.....
