Anyone know if trail maintenance is still planned for 5/14 or has it been rescheduled?

As of right now this has not been rescheduled. But might be something we need to talk about at the next meeting. If someone can find out what the snow levels are, and keep and eye on the ENF to see if they extend the closer.

I'll be passing by Strawberry on Friday on my way up to Tahoe. I'll be in my Jeep as it is and can check out where the snow starts. LIving in Tahoe, I can say that the snow at lake level is all pretty much gone except for some patches in the forests.

Offline I'm still planning to run up there regardless but I'll bet we won't make the trailhead.

Offline I'll be working both the 14th and 15th so will have to bail if the maintenance run takes place. After mid-May, life will be back to "normal" ... the definition of which I'm still working on.

Offline Did we start a new thread on the revised maintenance run date (6/4)? I can't find it.
I was up there last weekend and there was snow, lots of snow, just getting to the trailhead.
It will be snowing up there today and tonight as well. It will be cold all week so there won't be much chance for snow melt.
I realize a later date is probably better for doing some work.
HOWEVER, since we all have this Saturday marked is there going to be a run somewhere?
We could run in the area of the Strawberry trail.
We could check out the Rubicon and see how far trail has been broken.
We could do nothing.
Thoughts?

Sorry I've been silent for a bit. I am in the process of starting my own business and it has consumed my time and money to have any fun lately. The rewards will pay off some day...I hope! LOL. But anyway. I'm trying to make time this Saturday to do SOMETHING Jeep related but still not sure if I can. I'll be checking back often so if anyone knows the definite plan let me know? If I can't make it this weekend, I'll be sure to make it to the next meeting! See you guys soon. 🙂

Are you still thinking of doing a run somewhere? With recent storms is Rubicon going to be covered in new snow?
