Don't know. Rob and I are going up Hwy 49 from Auburn. Don't know Justin's plans. Maybe we can meet somewhere in Auburn.

Note to self...
Don't forget the bread 😳
We can meet in Auburn around 7
Auburn Starbuck's at 7:15.
I'll call Justin and let him know.
cool, isn't there more than one starbucks?

Since you get to pay for half the gas, I want you to have an E-ticket ride and get your monies worth 😀

It looks like I am going to have a late night. 😎 If I survive, I will call you or Tom in the morning. 😂 😂
Starbuck's next to Baker's Square by the Forest Hill turn off. Lincoln Rd. I believe.
got it
I'll meet you guys at Fresh Pond.
My daughter Noel is making brownies as I type. Hopefully they'll make it to lunch tomorrow . . . .

They better make it to lunch. Several of us are packing chain saws. They'd never find the body 😏
O, oh. I better ask her to make another batch!!!!
Looks like my ride fell through. Rob had to work late and Justin can't make it. Brad, or anybody, do you have an open seat?
Tom, obviously we won't be meeting at Starbuck's...
I'll give it 15 more minutes before I throw in the towel...
I'm not driving up to Fresh Pond and leaving my truck. So, if I can't find a ride and a place to park my truck, I'll have to sit this one out 😢
Dangit...
I guess people don't check the board before a run like they used to...
I guess I'm out since nobody's chimed in with a ride offer.
It was too early to start calling around to find a ride and it is now too late to worry about it. Have a good trip everybody. Sorry I'll miss it.

I see Tom checked the board. Hopefully he got this message. Maybe I'll have to fly up to Starbucks to make sure he isn't waiting for us...
Looks like Tom was the only person to check the forum before the run 🙄
I drove up to Auburn to meet him and give him the sandwich rolls, but he wasn't there.
Oh well...at least I tried 🙁
I call John's Brownie! Woohooo!!!!
Sorry to hear no one checked on before leaving, Looks like you better go fishing instead . . . .
So...no reports??? Was the trail in good shape? Did you work hard? Did you guys make it all the way accross? Did anybody break? Were the brownies good? Did you guys have to eat meat with your hands (caveman style)? No plates and no buns 🙁

Funny you should ask! The trail was in good shape, Snow made it very slow going with lots of winching and strapping. My carnage list:
Broken Bead on the front passenger side - Had to change to my spare
Snapped my CB Antennae right off on low branches
Ripped my Sahara rocker plastic trim off
The brownies were great (what was left, some ended up on the floor of my Jeep during a steep decent)
The bread and plates were greatly missed but we made due
I'll post pics tomorrow, time for a shower and bed.

I had an open seat! You should have called me. You know I don't bring my son on maintenance runs...
A small group with winches could have made it all the way across. I made it past the second water crossing so there was nothing hard left on the trail. The trail was solid snow and about 3-4 ft deep. I was also carrying a saw with me, so trees wouldn't have stopped us either.

I didn't want to start calling people at 5:30 in the morning. I was hoping somebody would check the forum and call me. Next time I'll have a back up plan.
Crap, Sorry John. I could have just swung by and picked you up. I thought if you really wanted to go you would call me. What ever happened to people calling each other? Do you need my number?
Ok, trip report:
I got strapped, winched, used my shovel a few times, and took out severeal small trees. Something is loose in my steering now.
This was a the best trip I have had yet. The trail master, Lee, pushed through all the drifts for us. Brad and Lee broke trail while we motored through after.
We got past V-rock with no problem, but then we started hitting the snow drifts...winch... strap...winch...We got to the creek crossing, got a few vehicles through, then decided to turn back due to time and snow.
Jim and I brought the meat, and everyone chipped in with fruit, Earl's Cajun potato salad, etc.
Hardly any trash.
Oh, I do REALLY need a winch.
