We are meeting at Fresh Pond on Hwy 50 at 830 am, and leaving at 9. There should be lots of people going!

We have two prospects who would like to supply meat for lunch on this run as part of their bbq. Would everyone be up for a simple trail pot luck lunch?

If so, we could use the meat for sandwiches and would only need fixin's bread and some fruit and chips (if everyone covered their own drinks).

Thoughts? I can bring a few large bags of chips...

I'll be a maybe on this one as well.... had an issue on the way home last night with my exhaust which developed a rather huge crack all the way around the base of the connection to my header. Have to see if I'll be able to get it repaired in time. If I can make it though, I'd be able to bring along something as well.

Out in the garage collecting parts....

Can you just swing into a muffler shop and have it welded? It shouldn't be more than a few bucks..

Yeah, should be a quick fix hopefully. The only deal is that it was already a custom setup where they had modified my header for a solid connection directly to the exhaust. It cracked just under where the header is modified and the exhaust tube starts so it's really close to the oil pan (i.e. pain in the #@$ to get to with a welder). I think I landed on it or something that last run with you guys or the heat mixed with the snow caused it to crack. Either that or it was just a crappy setup 😀

Looks like I am out for this weekend. I broke my driver side inner axle on the Rubicon trip. I was hoping it was just another u-joint, but it took out the inner shaft. I am going to order a new shaft, but I don't think I will get it by Sunday. I might hitch a ride with John if that is OK.

Lynette and I are bringing thinnly sliced tri-tip in Au Jus for the sandwhiches, and if we can find a good mayo-horseradish sauce. If we can get a final head count by the 16th it would be great. Jim D.

Count me in. I'm pretty sure Don will be there too. Chuck may make it.

It's possible Eric Kokernak may be along on the run too. Some of you met Eric on last fall's clean-up run.

Do we need a bbq for Sunday? If so, I could bring my tabletop bbq and propane tank for my share of the potlock.

If the bbq is covered already, I'll bring bread for the sandwiches if that's still needed. Do we need any condiments too?

Can everyone please post what you are bringing?

It looks like Fred has bread
Brad has chips.
Tom and Jim have got the meat covered.

Someone is covering the bbq if needed.

How about condiments, paper towels or plates, fruit? Anything else?

I got my on-call schedule screwed up. I'm not going to be able to make it this Sunday. I'll be on-call instead. 👿

So bread is available for someone else to bring.
