    Sounds like a great idea! Unfortunately I've been doing a lot of overtime for work lately and I'm off to Vegas in the next week.

    I drove up to loon lake last weeked, I needed to clear my head. Hardly any snow. I made it all the way to the spillway in 2 wheel drive. There was ice on the lake but very light snow around it. Very peacefull though.

    I'm open for a run. However, my schedule is weird. Lots going on. I'll watch your post and chime in if I can.

    How about this Sunday (Jan 19)? Meet at the Pollock Pines Subway at 8 then make our way up to Loon Lake. See how far we can get before turning back. The weather looks like it will be clear.

    You can get all the way across the rubicon currently. It's just a matter of battling ice.

    19th is the niners Seattle game. Does your plan involve an early return of some kind? I need to constantly text john during the game!

    FYI There is a thread in Chit-Chat for a day trip, Loon Lake to Wentworth springs Saturday 1/25/14 Who's going? No football that day that I know of……..

    I do have a lot of respect for John's dedication to his team! There are a lot of Seattle fans out there, John is the only one I know with the old school jacket. 😎

    I've been a loyal fan since the late 70s. I've put up with a lot of BAD teams. No bandwagon for me :)
