Here's a writeup from last year - I'd assume there's a fair amount of snow right now. http://wiki.posse4x4.org/2008_.....n_Snow_Run
I'd say it's similar to Iron Mountain, but less well traveled.

if i can find someone to go , but it sounds like people might go to gv.and i might be up for that if im invited. i dont have rock sliders yet and dont really know it would be required at gv. wentworth is really close to me and it wouldnt be an all day affair i think, but it could be.

i took a drive to Georgetown to get a bite and ran into some snow. the flakes were huge. im glad i brought my tow strap ,because on the way back i helped a truck out of the side of the road. almost home a tree fell and blocked the road. there should be plenty of snow toward wentworth. a lot of people were abandoning there cars and getting rides the rest of the way.

Sounds like most folks are holding off on the snow until next weekend. I can wait until then for a gv run.
As a general rule, if it's on the public side of the board everyone is invited unless there are specific vehicle requirements that you don't meet. Then you're still invited, you just have to leave your rig and catch a ride. Stuff in the member section may be a bit more restrictive.
Oh yeah, you'll be fine without sliders for pretty much any snow run.
