As may of you know, I bought Rob's Jeep and I need help! My plan it to swap over the axles, transfercase, steering and other goodies to my 06 LJ. Then put the LJ axles on the TJ. This is a lot of work and I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

Offline I'll make it there. I don't want to miss out on seeing Rob's Jeep intact for the last time. I'll be sad to see it gutted, I've spent many an hour under that thing helping to build it up.

That's a good Idea! The Pending member could bring whatever. I was thinking pizza because it is easy and you can eat it with greasy hands.

Bill I have four 12 ton jackstands I can bring. They reach 30 inches off the ground. Their the biggest ones Harbor Freight has I believe.

Offline Bill, have you done the frame notching, and built the stub for the rear suspension shock outboard? I know you're working on the rear link set up, but didn't want you to forget that piece. Also, does Rob's TJ still have the upper shock mounts for your rear end set up? What about the standard 4 link rear? Upper track bar mount? It looks like you have a LOT of pre-work, but the end swap should be pretty painless.
Will the PS pump and box (plus ram for the one set up) come out cleanly without disconnecting the lines and re-bleeding everything?

I plan on showing up although with my jeep sleeping away from home the last 23 days and likely not be back in my possession until middle next month my jeep envy may not allow me to show up 😥 . I have 2 6ton jack stands and a jack.

Rick, sounds like you are willing to do sandwiches? Please bring the jackstands. This is the first I have been able to log in since the round up. I'm trying to plan food and drink for every one.
