    I got a little farther along on the truck today, the transfer case, transmission and engine are all out, now only a open hole where it all should be.                                               The orange engine is the 360, ready to go back in177.JPG178.JPG                                                                                                           Lew and me pulling the 318 out180.JPG181.JPG                                                                                                                             Victory, the 318 is out182.JPG                                                                                                                                                                                      the empty engine compartment187.JPG                                                                                                                                                                          the NP 205 transfer case and NP 435 transmission. (Man they are heavy)179.JPG186.JPG                                                                      I found that both engine mounts,( the rubber biscuits,) were ripped in half, got to replace those and put in some kind of travel limiter to prevent future problems.

    I can't wait to get it all back together, but it will be this Sunday and Monday before I have time. The grass is green because I refuse to take part in the drought LOL.

    good stuff Dale!  yea about the drought.  hard for me to comply when the state keeps letting out more water out then folsom is getting in.  AGAIN!😠

    The delta pumps take water from everywhere up north.  Hell LA will take water from the Klamath River Watershed through a canal that runs from the Trinity to Sacramento rivers.  Once it is in the delta they call it fair game.

    Well, got a little more done today, welded chains to limit the travel of the motor mounts and test fit the engine, I pulled it back out to put on the flywheel, clutch and bell housing005.JPG. Maybe tomorrow I will have time to do that and put it back in for the last time.😀003.JPG004.JPG

    Flywheel, clutch disk and pressure plate are on001.JPG002.JPG oil filter and fuel pump are on003.JPG004.JPG bell housing and starter are on005.JPG006.JPG putting engine in007.JPG008.JPG all finished with hood on 010.JPG011.JPG It was a lot of work, but it runs great, just have to fix a valve cover leak.
