On Sunday my Daughter was attending a High School Cheer Clinic in Tahoe at Squaw Valley.  After we dropped her off along with several other girls my wife and I decided to go explore the Mount Watson Trail out of Tahoe City.  This is a very easy fire road system with a difficulty rating of 3 out of 10. (the 3 is due to the very beginning that is rather steep but any stock 4x4 should make it with ease) We ended up on a paved road that had many trails off of it and eventually ended up at Watson Lake for lunch.  There was a 4x4 trail out of Watson Lake that looked fun.  We ran out of time and could not explore it further. Turns out there are many different trails you could explore in this area that might be worth checking out.  So if you have a free day and want to get away on a very easy drive this is a great choice.  I even took my Jeep to Church up there... (see photo)

There are so many areas to explore!  If you have not gone up to Bowman Lake you should give that one a look also.

We all need to get out there more!  Let's plan some trips!
