I'm reviving the annual 1/2 (January 2nd) "Half" (in quotes, see date) Run (no snow last year).
This will be a snow run up Wentworth Springs Rd. For newer folks, this is not like the snow patrols where we hang out for most of the day. This is a snow run so be prepared! Bring shovels, warm clothes (layers), food and water. Also, let people know where you will be and don't make plans for after the run.
Historically, some of these runs have turned into late nights.
We will meet in Georgetown at 8:30am and then head up Wentworth Springs Rd.
Make sure your vehicle meets the club vehicle requirements at a minimum.
I'll post more details as needed.

Offline Here are my initial thoughts:
- Meet in Nyack.
- Head up 80 to 20.
- Take Bowman Lake Rd and see how far we get.
- If we make it to the lake in good time continue on loop we had planned on the first run.
- Head back out the way we came in.
If anyone has additional insights please let me know.
Another option is to continue on Meadow Lake Rd to Meadow Lake and run Fordyce backwards.

Ah...... to me 1/2 is "one half" as in one half run. I do dates with a dash 1-2, but then it could be "one to two". So anyway now I know. Jan. 2nd
