I'm wondering if the forest service was confused about your question. We aren't looking for 4x4 routes. We are looking for non maintained roads that are open.

As much as I am wanting to go on a snow run, I will have to skip this one. I have come down with a respiratory and head cold. Take lots of pictures wherever you end up going.

You can run packsaddlepass road tear round. It's paved so there aren't ant limitations of your brave you can run all the way over to MET and out pollock pines.
