Meeting in Pollock Pines at 830 - Subway off of Hwy 50 and Sly Park rd. Leaving by 9. Will last until 4 pm.
Bring pop ups, heaters/firewood and food.
Any interest in a pot luck? Who’s in?
I'm in, and since this will be my 3rd event I'll bring a big pot of venison chili... it's my specialty. It does have beans in it.
We will need bowls, cornbread, tortilla chips, etc.
I'll also bring a generator to reheat the chili.

OfflineAssuming the weather holds and conditions are good, I will be going up and snow camping on the 12th. I will be trying to camp in an appropriate location for the snow patrol so you guys can head up and meet me there. If anyone is interested in snow camping with me, let me know. If you want to snow camp then you must have all your own gear and it has to be appropriate gear for snow camping.
I will have the sign-in sheet with me and bring the cones. Someone else will have to handle the drivers meeting and lead the convoy.

kris i'm a strong maybe. I'll let you know asap. I've never towed my trailer in the snow. any thoughts or concerns?
Considering my wife and I will be in my cherokee on 31s, you should be fine. There will be at least one other rig towing a trailer as well so you wont be alone. I currently have my college buddy with his wife and possibly (still a maybe at this point) my father-in-law, both would have trailers with RTTs on them.
Does your trailer have a rear recovery point on it? Might be nice to strap you from both sides if needed.

I may be joining you as well. Looks like snow Saturday! Which would make it even more awesome!
