I will have a seat for someone who is committed to taking pictures!!! I'd also like an official "photographer" who can jump between rigs throughout the trip.
Yes, there will be minimum requirements for this trip. I can say it will be on a Wednesday. I can post the specific date, doing some math. I think it would be July 11th.

Clearly we were thrwarted last time with the Friday "in" crowd on the Rubicon, and the broken full-size we waited 2 hrs for.
Going on a Thursday should be better...
What does everyone think of July 11th? I'd say this run will require at least 35" tires and two lockers, plus recovery gear. Also, each driver will need to trust the rig in front of them for most spotting situations. Rob does an excellent job spotting through the tough spots like WH1 so I'm glad he's going!

I have July 12th on my calendar. We will be back in time for the club meeting that evening, right ❓

So running Fordyce W to E will put us at the E terminus of the Rubicon so we run the Rubicon E to W, correct? I need to get my maps out.

I'm good for any day you want to do it. I can take off time when ever I want. I think Weds the 11th is the best date. It will be the least traffic on the trail. Most people are off the trails by monday or Tuesday. Some of the weekend traffic will start heading in on Thursdays for a long weekend. Weds is the calm before the storm.

Seems to make sense to me as well. I guess we could go the other direction in August if Scott can't go until then?
