Fun day! It was Jeff R, Greg, and Brian riding with me. A nice cool morning. There were a lot of vehicles and trucks with trailers at the staging area. Fortunately, we didn't run into anyone on the trail until we were close to the river. Everyone went up driveline hill. We made it to the river in about 1.5 hours, hung out for a while, ate, and watched some buggies cross. They were all on 40s or larger tires and the tires were under water. None of us attempted the crossing. After more groups came down we decided to head back. There was very little traffic on the trail on the way out. I did give Brian a taste of the Fordicon pace for a short section on the way back. I think he thought I was crazy! I wanted to go back down driveline hill but there was a vehicle stalled in the middle. I ended up selling the guy a quart of oil for $100! Just kidding, I gave it to him. Driving back on 80 there was a ton of traffic heading east to Tahoe. I would avoid 80 east today.
First trail run of the year for me. It felt great to get back out there.
Jeff, Greg, or Brian, feel free to add more. 🙂

I'm going out to dinner so I will ad more when time allows. The guy needed the oil because he laid his very nice rig (an FJ 40 I believe, with a beautiful paint job) on its side on driveline hill. It was on all four wheels when we went by. The only damage I saw was to his tube fenders.
