OfflineI would like to do another Fordyce Intro run this year before the snow hits. This would be to the first river crossing and back out, so I should (fingers crossed) be safe.
The plan will be to get to the river crossing, have lunch, and then head back out. If the flows are low enough, maybe we will cross the river for fun.
Trail Rating: Moderate to Difficult
Meet at Nyack Shell Gas Station at 8:30am.
The following requirements will be in addition to the Club minimum requirements
- Minimum 35" tires
- One locker
- No metal valve stems (they break easily in rocks)
- No rear Dana 35 (they break easily in rocks)
Post up if you are interested.

More details and requirements to follow.
Post up if interested, and review the requirements once they are posted.
Yesterday my son told me he saw on Pirate 4X4 that the flows on Fordyce Creek will be high for about a month. Apparently they are trying to get water into lake Spaulding. I just checked on Dreamflows and sure enough, the water is running fast. http://www.dreamflows.com/grap.....on.063.php

That's okay for this run. If flows are high we won't cross the river.

Is it not Fordyce by signal peak entrance?
if not maybe I'm mistaken.
i had a tj at Hellhole 1st time buck pulled it out of rock garden
2nd time in and out on my own power and on wat I thought was Fordyce the jku
if you go one way you go to signal peak if the other wat seems like a dirt road at first you go to Fordyce
