Kinda weird. It might have put you into "edit" mode instead of "quote".

Looks like it'll be a beautiful day in the mountains!

So what do I need to do to have a BBQ on the snow patrol? I'm not really a great cook. If I provide meat, is anyone interested in showing us their magic?

    Um...what?

I should be there with family in tow.

Btw, a coworker was up there Sunday ~2pm or so. Drove all the way to the gate and it was unlocked. He also got flagged down by a full size chevy that unfortunately got high centered. Seem to have got locked into by the lift arms or something. My friend Sean and his wife helped get them out. He said he was surprised to see the gate unlocked. Is that right?

So, you figured out what the copper tubing was for?

No, but he's been watching "Moonshiners" and found a use for it.

Not sure who's asking this question on my post.....but

    1. I have the combo to the lock on the box at the kiosk if its the same as it was a couple years ago.

    2. I would love the contact info for someone at the Department of Forestry. It may be in the binder???

    3. Glad you're in!

ENF contact phone # is in the binder.

I think I am in, just need to know what all is involved. Are we just driving up and hanging out and then driving home or is there more to it?

Awesome! It really depends on what you feel like doing. There will definately be some hanging out/sledding/tubing. There is always a group or two that head out and play in the snow with their rigs.

I spoke with Dana at the Department of Forestry today. He said Cathy started the road patrols as of last weekend and asked me to extend his thanks to the club.

Does this mean that the run is still on? And.....who is doing their membership BBQ?

YUP!!! Are you in? We need someone to start the fire in a fire pit!

I haven't heard of anyone, but I have a portable charcoal BBQ I can bring if someone needs.

Yes I'm in and I must warn you I am a professional at putting out fires but not starting them. I will be glad to help in any way.

I didn't post 14 days in advance according to the by-laws for my membership BBQ. So...I will have to reschedule.

The event itself was scheduled 14 days in advance, therefore club members have had ample notice, I think that qualifies. Let's BBQ! (if you like)

Okay, let me double check some stuff and I'll let you guys know. I was just trying to abide by the by-laws. Thanks for setting me straight.

George, is the snow you saw decent enough that it would be worthwhile taking my snoeshoes?

I may make this run. Still trying to figure out the logistics. I'm good with it being a member BBQ on short notice.
