I thought you would still be going up hill by now.😀

Great day! I was the last person off the freeway so everyone should be home now. Long canyon was really fun, wish it was a bit clearer for the view. Very little traffic on both trails, not bummer was we did not see Greg.

We also decided while airing up to start planning a Strawberry night run the weekend after the time changes!

Yeah those grades really give those squirrels a workout. Luckily most of the way home was down hill. 😎

Sorry Jamie, we made really great time on Strawberry so we ended up going over to Lost Lakes and then down to Deer Valley to play for a little.

Im just happy youre back on the trail, sounds like you had a great day also! Oh, and I see spell check got me on my post, it was supposed to say "only bummer" 😀

Be happy you have Squirrels, I've got chipmunks, and sometime I think one has a bad leg 😀

Count me in

I intend to explore the area on 10/2.  We will see what's up there.  I may run MET and across packsaddlepass to the Strawberry trail, or run up Sand Flat via Hells Delight, or Kyburz and Long Canyon.

I'm in

We're in, but heard on the news this morning that MET is still closed. Should we meet at Fresh Pond or where in Placerville @ 9:30A?

I was thinking about going, but it sounds like we can't legally turn off the paved road. So I'll wait until we can actually venture around and see what we can see.
