👍I ended up doing the side mount of the control box because center mount hit the grill with my bumper. I actually like the side mount better now that I see it.

i like it kevin!  I'll be in the market for a winch soon.  is that the standard color rope on that winch?  and if you know, can you pick a color or are you stuck with what it comes with and have to order another one if you want a different color?

Only choices are standard cable or the dark gray synthetic rope with their "Comp" series. I'll be entering lots of competitions now! 😜

Yeah, the ones on 4wd.com were in the $40 plus range and will still likely wear and fade.

I consider it a disposable item. It will wear and fade in a few years, then I'll get another one for $10. That's the plan, anyways.😀

I agree.  Mine was 22 bucks on eBay.   Cheap protection for your rope.
