I know this is last minute but I am putting a lift on my friend's 73 Bronco tomorrow. If any one is board and wants to stop by, any help would be appreciated. Just thought i would throw it out there. The lift is a James Duff 3 1/2 inch. I will have to weld on the track bar mount but every thing else is bolt on. Thanks :hack:

We got the one that comes off the frame but it is welded and bolted and is made from 1/4 plate. And it's a pavement queen! :girly:

Well, the one day project is now a two day project. As usual, despite great help, things wern't to schedule. I should have figured a stock bronco from 1973 would put up a fight! Thanks to Carl for a huge amount of help! We are taking pics so hopefully I can get some up later.
So, tomorrow is a new day and we will be attacking the red beast once again. Carl has graciously agreed to help out again. If any one else would like to stop by the help would be great! More to follow.

We put a James Duff 3.5 inch lift springs with a Wild Horse drop track bar brackets on the front. In the rear we put Deaver 3.5 inch leaf springs. The actual lift height is 2.5 inches in the front and 3 inches in the rear. We ended up with the right side sitting an inch higher than the left side. This might be binding in the suspension but until we get it drivable we won't know for sure . All that is left is to reconnect the drive shaft, bleed the brakes, center the steering, alignment, and adjust the E-brake.
Here are some pics with captions.
