We fired up the beast today! We have a few things to finish: Exhaust, Drive Shafts, Skid Plates, a few odds and ends..
We installed the new hood and fired the engine up and it started on the first crank!

Is Joe retired now? Seems to spend all his time between 4Wheel Parts and Extreme Gear. Maybe one of those places will eventually hire him

We test drove the Jeep today.. and all I can say is HOLY &%($*(# that thing is fast.. 😀
There is a couple of items left to button up and adjust before I bring her home for the weekend, but the test drive was awesome. It purs and is smooth shifting and accelerates like crazy. We are going to put some miles on it this weekend and fully test the suspension and then take it back in next week for final inspection to make sure nothing is rubbing, coming loose and its all good to go for MOAB! Probably running to Prarie City this weekend to play and test the suspension with the new motor.

Sorry i missed this PC run. I had a couple of things to check out too.
I heard the 4x4 area was closed this weekend, but I didn't need that area to test out some suspension changes.

Today was a good trial run, nothing too crazy but definately got to see how it handles with the new motor. It was extremely muddy out there, the Obstacle Course was closed this morning, when we showed up at 2:30 everything was open.
