OEM half doors may not be dead. I was emailed a survey from Jeep about half doors. I'm guessing for the new JL model in 2018.

My main like was keeping out water during river crossings.

My main dislike was half doors with an open bottom (see main like above).

Other things I recall were about wind noise, lower door storage, mirrors, upper door durability, storing upper doors in Jeep, window storage within half door.

That's all I can remember.
