Looks doable with some shovel work. I cant find anything on when they are planning to start work on the road but I imagine it will be soon since PCWA has a project in the works for Hell Hole Dam.
Maybe the contractor will get a change order to work their way to the dam! I wonder what Hell Hole Trail looks like?

I wonder if the road through the canyon is washed out anywhere. Maybe I'll have to take a drive.I took that route last summer and it's a lot faster than through Georgetown from the 80 side. I would not recommend taking a trailer that way as it has quite a few tight turns.
That's just what we have been talking about. Curiously is killing us, but we may not be able to get very far. Let's discuss at the meeting tonight.

You can't see the full damage in the picture. It's not doable. The road in litteraly drops of 10'. Straight down. You would flip any rig over. Needs a Dozer up there to do the repair work. Or about 10k shovel loads!
Have you seen the club turnout to recent events? All we would need is a member BBQ and enough shovels will show up.

Kris,
Do you know what type of work they are going to do on the dam?

Raising the core to comply with Division of Dam Safety and complete a necessary step in FERC re-licensing of the hydro project.
