I can't thank everyone enough. I know John and Larry really pulled some strings to come out to help and I don't know how I can repay you.

I am back at work and will post up my story later when I have time.

    😳

John's got #1 poster in the bag right now. Keane and I are neck and neck in the number 3 & 4 spots. If we can manage about 170 posts each we can knock Brad down from his #2 spot to #4.

    Let's go!!!!!

All he said was, "That Sucks".

But , he has been in that situation many times before. πŸ˜‚

I know some of you donÒ€ℒt like to read long posts so here is a summary of what happened.

I broke my drivers side rear axle.

We relayed a message via CB and Ham radio to call John for my spare axles at home.

While being towed back to Buck, I ripped a front brake line off and lost my brakes. (Rob had a spare line and a quick fix got us back on the trail.

Back at buck we started to tear into it. With 3 hi-lifts and tools from everybody, we got the broken pieces out and my Jeep back on four wheels. (front wheel drive only due to a broken ARB line inside the housing).

Everybody at camp really went out of their way to help me. Everybody there was under my Jeep at one point helping me out. (I think I even saw BradÒ€ℒs son helping). I couldnÒ€ℒt even think straight due to the lack of food and abuse of adult beverages the night before.

I loaded up LeeÒ€ℒs spare which had the right lug pattern for my spare axles that we hoped were coming with John.

We left Buck around 1530 with Rob towing me through the parts I couldnÒ€ℒt make it in front wheel drive, which was 90% of the trail.

We ran into a guy at the top of the slabs who offered us a spare axle that was in his truck at Loon Lake.

We got to Loon Lake around 1930, grabbed the axle from the truck and started to change it out.

About half way through the repair, John and Larry showed up and they replaced the borrowed axle in the truck with one of my spares that they brought.

We were back on the road by 2230, and home by midnight.

    A few more high lights.

Rob broke his front sway bar and had an interesting drive home with no sway bars front or rear. It was a thrill to watch him going around corners at 45MPH.

John fought death wobble the whole trip.

I was the one who needed rescued and I had the smoothest trip home.

Thank you Rob for pulling me out of there. Your driving skills even with me being pulled behind you never cease to amaze me.

Again, I canÒ€ℒt thank everyone enough for helping me, including all the people who offered help and were on standby in case they were needed.

I need more details! What was he doing? Mine works even when it's inverted...

You are incorrect! Our sway bars are what Fred just Bought - NOT what he is selling! πŸ˜€

I should put both swaybars on.

I'm curious to find out what broke on Rob's swaybar. The inversion situation should be preventable by lengthening the links.

Rob broke the shaft in the middle, so one arm was just hanging there. 😲

Wow. That seems pretty odd to break the actual torsion bar. I bet ORO will replace it.
