Dang, I can't get ahold of my wife to see if she can take the kids.
Justin is working on a plan that involves Cabin Boy and a welder and his and Tom's Jeep.
Update...Rob called and hes making slow progress. He sucked his axle up with his winch (another reason to own one). He'll be calling me in about a half hour with a progress report.

I talked to Rob just a few minutes ago. He's making slow progress and he's crested the hill. Downhill to Cisco Grove from there. He's got minimal steering but it's working. We can be in stand by mode for now. We'll have to see if he can make it over the snow bank at Cisco Grove. If he can get to the hiway, he can call for a tow. I'll keep you all updated.
It's pretty frustrating not to be able to drop everything and run out and rescue him. I owe him a big "TOLD-YA-SO." 😀

The last I heard, he was past the camp ground and had about a mile or so to go. He hadn't hit the snow bank yet. He'll have to drive over it or winch over it with no steering. Either way, you know he'll hammer down and have fun doing it. At least he's out having a good time.

Rob is out and he's on the paved road. He's calling a tow truck and should be home in a while.
I called off Justin and Tom and Cabin Boy. Now I'll call off Brad and tell my wife she can go to work after all. There was no way I was going to miss out on a rescue effort and a chance to laugh at Rob 😀

Ya, thanks to everybody...
Brad was ready to go
Justin was ready to go
Tom was ready to go
Cabin Boy was ready to go
Fred was ready to lend stuff to help out
Keane called back to offer help
And my wife was ready to call in sick so I could tag along and help and laugh at Rob.
I think that me laughing at him made him more committed to getting off the trail on his own.
Great group of guys that were willing to step up and help at the drop of a hat.
Hat's off to all of you. The Horsemen salute you 8)
