Here's the recipe:
8 frozen hash brown patties
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup whipping cream
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese

Place the patties in a greased 13-in. x 9-in x 2-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and garlic powder. Pur cream over patties. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Sprinkle with the cheese. Bake 5-10 minutes longer or until the potatoes are tender and cheese is melted. Makes 8 servings.

We modified the recipe slightly and added some shaved parmigiano reggiano cheese in addition to the cheddar.
